After several weeks away, I’m back to writing and dedicated to helping us navigate wisely in a chaotic world.
I haven’t been idle. Life (and springtime and early summer) has brought a flood of home projects, such as organizing and finishing the garage, landscaping tasks, and the enormous battle with weeds in the garden. I don’t mind the bugs, but there can be no ground bee nests among my flowers, period. Even as I found myself covered in mulch from the garden or tackling various home repair issues, the themes I write about—wisdom, self-awareness, and our place in this broken world—continued to rise to the surface.
I’m returning with renewed perspective and fresh words.
The next post in the Wisdom and Self-Awareness series is a significant one: an exploration of the Fall of humanity in Genesis 3 and how it elucidates the unfairness, brokenness, and sorrow we all face. However, it also serves as the key to understanding why striving to live wisely—even when life hurts—is not naïve, but necessary.
Soon afterward, I’ll share a shorter post for general readers seeking a more immediate perspective on life’s unfairness and how to navigate it with hope.
Whether you’re new here or a long-time reader, thank you for joining me. These are tough times, but we don’t have to wander aimlessly. There is light ahead—and wisdom to guide our steps.
See you at the gates.
